Our report, “Homelessness and Housing Needs for Adults Served by the Department of Developmental Services and the Regional Center System in California,” delves into the critical housing challenges faced by adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As California grapples with an affordable housing crisis, this report sheds light on the unique struggles of the IDD community, who often live on fixed incomes near poverty levels. Through comprehensive data analysis and policy recommendations, we aim to inform and inspire action towards creating more inclusive, accessible, and affordable housing solutions for all.
